Southwest Florida General Practice Law Firm

Serving Fort Myers with compassionate personalized legal assistance

The law firm which bears my name—Andrew S. Epstein, P.A.—is dedicated to serving the legal needs of individuals and businesses throughout Southwest Florida with caring and responsive legal services.  As an involved and active member of  both the legal profession and the wider community in Lee County, I am proud of the reputation I have earned by obtaining excellent results for my clients in Ft. Myers and its surrounding communities, including Naples, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Lee County, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and throughout Charlotte & Collier counties.

I am currently the president of the Lee County Bar Association.  And, I am honored to have received the prestigious AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review RatingSM by Martindale-Hubbell®, which is the highest rating available for both professional competence and ethical integrity.

Comprehensive legal services

In my personal injury practice, I represent plaintiffs who have been injured through the negligence or recklessness of individuals or companies.  You may be entitled to compensation for injuries from car and motorcycle accidents, a slip or fall, dog bites, defamation including libel or slander, property damage, wrongful death, or many other events or wrongs.

In my business and commercial law practice, I represent homeowners, contractors, and business owners with everything from drafting agreements and enforcing contracts to appeals after the trial.

In addition, my firm handles a wide variety of general legal needs such as property damage, consumer disputes, and credit and insurance issues.

A winning attitude

For nearly two decades, I have enjoyed living, practicing law, and playing in our wonderful community.  Yes, trial attorneys also like to have fun!  When I am not hard at work—for example, litigating on behalf of a client who has been injured in a car accident or perhaps drafting a sublease agreement for a condominium owner—you are likely to find me taking advantage of the great recreational activities available in this area. I have always been an avid swimmer, even setting nationals record and was an All American and All Ivy swimmer at Cornell University and subsequently coached masters swimmers throughout law school.

As an All-East sports fan and competitor, I have learned the key to winning a race: superb technical skills, thorough knowledge of the opponents, seemingly endless preparation, and a burning desire to succeed.  And all this has to be combined with a good measure of plain old common sense.  These same qualities are what make a successful trial lawyer.  As a trial lawyer with state trial practice, my cases have involved every aspect of the litigation process, including appeals to the highest state courts.

Protecting Florida’s families

Another thing I believe strongly in is ensuring the public's safety.  For a number of years I have volunteered my time to serve on the board of directors of the Southwest Florida Safety Council.  Since 1964, the nonprofit Southwest Florida Safety Council has been dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and supporting safety in industry, at home, on the highway, and in the public places of Southwest Florida.  My concern for Florida's families also prompted me to join the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice, organizations of attorneys whose mission it is to ensure justice and protection of families in Florida and throughout the country.  I proudly represent clients with the same concern and dedication with which I  strive to serve our community.
